Trade Work Option

Revised: March 3, 2012

Some land owners would like to have the ground cover removed, but don't want to deal with a bunch of hay bales.

Others have too much hay for their livestock and don't want to go through the hassel of listing, selling, and loading the excess hay on the buyers trucks and trailers.

Perhaps you need the hay done, but due to your current financial situation, you can't afford to have it done.

Whatever your reason may be, this could be the solution for you.

The normal trade work option is for us, the produer, to produce the hay from start to finish entirely at our expense.

At the completion of the job, we would take, in payment for the production, two thirds (2/3) of the finished hay to do with as we please. Simply, for every three (3) bales produced, we would take two (2) bales leaving the land owner with one (1) bale to use or sell. In the event of an odd number of bales produced, that does not divide equally by three (3), the producer would claim the odd bale.

If the land owner simply wants the land cleared and has no use for the hay or doesn't want to attempt to sell it, there may be other options available which would be agreed upon prior to starting the job.

Regardless of your reasons, contact us to discuss this option. We will remove the hay from your property as soon as possible following the completion of the job and store it at our farm. We have the contacts and the equipment to dispose of the excess hay quickly.
